Climate Budapest
Budapest is situated in the temperate zone, therefore it enjoys a continental climate.
It rains almost all over November, and generally cold temperatures only arrive in December until January, when the thermometer can go down up to -15°C.
In summer, July and August are the hottest months, and temperatures can rise up to 28-30°C.
The total number of hours of sunlight reaches 2000 hours per year, one of the highest means in Europe. From April through to September sun shines 10 hours per day, and this is definitely the best period to visit the city.
